Despite the measures taken to protect your personal data, we draw your attention to the fact that data transmission over the Internet or other public networks is not completely secure, and there is a risk that the data may be viewed and used by unauthorized third parties. We cannot be held responsible for such vulnerabilities in systems not under our control.

 Your Rights

The General Data Protection Regulation grants you several rights regarding your personal data. You can request access to your data, correct any errors in our files, and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority or take legal action. In some cases, you may request the deletion of your personal data, restrict processing, or exercise your right to data portability.

More details about each of these rights can be found in the table below.

To exercise your rights, please contact us using the details provided above. Note the following:

Identity Verification

We take the confidentiality of all personal data records seriously. Therefore, please send your requests using the email address linked to your account on recrutare-hr.ro. Otherwise, we reserve the right to verify your identity by requesting additional information.

Fees

We will not charge you for exercising your rights unless your request is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive. In such cases, we may charge a reasonable fee and will notify you in advance.

Response Time

We aim to respond to any valid requests within one month. If a request is particularly complex or you’ve submitted multiple requests, this period may be extended to two months. We’ll let you know if an extension is needed and may ask for clarification to help us respond more efficiently.

Third-Party Rights

We are not obliged to comply with a request if it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other data subjects.

Targeted rightsDescription
AccessYou may request the following from us: confirmation as to whether or not we are processing your personal data; access to a copy of your personal data; and additional information about your personal data, such as what data we hold, how we use it, to whom we disclose it, whether we transfer it abroad and how we protect it, how long we retain it, what rights you have, how you can file a complaint, and where we obtained your data from — to the extent that such information has not already been provided to you through this notice.
RectificationYou may ask us to rectify or complete your inaccurate or incomplete personal data. We may need to verify the accuracy of the data before making any corrections.
Data DeletionYou may request that we delete your personal data, but only in the following circumstances: the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; or you have withdrawn your consent (where data processing was based on consent); or you are exercising a legal right to object; or the data has been processed unlawfully; or we are under a legal obligation to erase it.
We are not required to comply with your request to delete your personal data if the processing is necessary: to comply with a legal obligation; or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
There may be other situations in which we are not obligated to comply with your deletion request, although these are the most likely reasons for which we may refuse such a request.
Please note that before exercising this right, you should download from your account on recrutare-hr.ro and save all documents related to your orders, regardless of whether the invoicing was done in your name or in the name of another individual or legal entity (such as invoices, warranty certificates). If you do not take this step before exercising your right to erasure, you will lose access to these documents, and the platform will be unable to provide them to you afterward, as the deletion process of your data and account, including all associated documents, is irreversible.
Restriction of Data ProcessingYou may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data, but only in the following situations: the accuracy of the data is contested (see the rectification section), allowing us time to verify its accuracy; or the processing is unlawful but you do not wish the data to be deleted; or the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, but you require it to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim; or you have exercised your right to object and a verification of whether our legitimate grounds override yours is ongoing.
We may continue to use your personal data following a restriction request if: we have your consent; or it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim; or it is required to protect our rights or the rights of another individual or legal entity.
Data PortabilityYou may ask us to provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or you may request that it be “ported” directly to another data controller, but in each case only if: the processing is based on your consent or on the conclusion or performance of a contract with you; and the processing is carried out by automated means.
ObjectionYou may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interest, if you believe that your fundamental rights and freedoms outweigh that interest. You may also object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (including profiling), without having to provide any reason, in which case we will cease such processing as soon as possible.
Automated Decision MakingYou may request not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, but only when that decision:
produces legal effects concerning you; or
similarly and significantly affects you.
This right does not apply if the automated decision:
is necessary for entering into or performing a contract with you;
is authorized by law and adequate safeguards for your rights and freedoms are in place; or
is based on your explicit consent.
ComplaintsYou have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data. In Romania, the contact details of the supervisory authority for data protection are as follows:
National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing
B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, Sector 1, postal code 010336, Bucharest, Romania
Phone: +40.318.059.211 or +40.318.059.212
Email: anspdcp@dataprotection.ro
Without affecting your right to contact the supervisory authority at any time, please contact us in advance, and we promise to make every effort to resolve any issues amicably.
